We would like to invite you to be a part of our ongoing national movement by joining the Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) and the National Dominican American Council (NDAC) as a member.  With a new President and new leadership, the DANR has renewed its vision and commitment on behalf of Dominicans living in US territories.  DANR needs you as a member and as a volunteer.  This is why we have launched a national campaign to recruit thousands of new committed members who will help us realize our mission consisting in advocating on behalf of over 1.6 million Dominicans in the United States and Puerto Rico. As stipulated in its Bylaws (Article 1), the DANR offers the following types of memberships: (1) Student membership, (2) Individual Membership, (3) Council Membership, and (4) Organizational Membership. Student: $25.00

Individual: $50.00

Council: $250.00

Your membership includes the following privileges:

1.  Invitation to DANR members-only events taking place around the year.
2.  Help set the direction of DANR
3.  Voting privileges during the annual membership meeting and in certain DANR elections as mandated by the DANR Bylaws.
4.  Discount to DANR products, publications, research and or special presentations*
5.  Eligibility to serve on the board of directors. *
6.  Discount rate to the DANR Annual National Conference.*
7.  Opportunity to network with national leaders, elected officials, students, supporters and friends of the DANR
8.  Priviledge to submit news, event, and information of general interest on the DANR website*

10. Discount rate on special educational and professional seminars offered by the DANR 11. Access to volunteer opportunities that suit your interests and availabilty

In order to qualify as a student member, you must be a currently-enrolled student at an accredited university and must be at least 18 years of age.

As an organizational member, you receive similar privileges and voting rights to those granted to individual members based on the principle of “One Vote per Member.”

It is important to note that your membership contribution helps the DANR to fund events throughout the year and also helps to subsidize student activities. In addition, your membership assists us in deferring operational costs of running a national operation out of Washington, DC. As we are a 501(c)(3) organization, your membership may be tax deductible (check with your tax advisor).
